Taiyo yuden Induce Electric Co., Ltd. has launched a multi-layer metal power inductor MCOIL ™ Mass production of two sizes and three products, including the LSCN series "LSCND1412HKTR24ME" (1.4x1.2x0.8mm, maximum height).
These products are power inductors for choke coils used in power circuits for smartphones and wearable terminals. Compared with our previous product "LSCNE2012HKTR24MD" (2.0x1.25x0.8mm), the volume of "LSCND1412HKTR24ME" has decreased by about 30%, and the DC saturation current value is 6.5A (previously 6.0A), an increase of about 8%. This will help to promote the miniaturization and high-performance of the power circuit for the increasingly developed smartphones and wearable terminals with high functionality and versatility.
Starting from July 2023, these products will be mass-produced in our subsidiary, Wakayama Sun Inducer (Yinan Town, Rigao County, Wakayama Prefecture).
In order to improve the constantly increasing data processing capabilities, smartphones are not only achieving high-performance processors, but also continuously achieving high functionality such as large screen and multi eye cameras. With the high-performance of processors, the load current is also increasing year by year. In addition, with the development of high functionality, the size of camera related circuits and batteries is also constantly expanding.
