SF-K temperature fuse, also known as thermal fuse (gb GB9816.1-2013), is a temperature induction circuit cutting device. It can sense electrical and electronic products abnormal operation of overheating, to cut off the circuit to avoid fire, commonly used in hair dryer, electric iron, rice cooker, electric stove, transformer, motor, water dispenser, coffee pot equipment, temperature fuse operation can not be used again, only once, in the design of the final product, to ensure that the position of the installation temperature fuse will not be serious or continuous vibration. If the temperature fuse damaged for some reason may not break the circuit in abnormal conditions, so if the circuit is abnormal, the effective method is to add one or more temperature fuses for a different temperature rating.

The SF temperature fuse uses a one-time action principle and can quickly cut off the circuit when it reaches the set temperature. Its metal shell is equipped with a movable electrode, two springs and a thermal particle. At normal temperatures, the movable electrode contacts the top of the lead, and the current flows through the movable electrode, passing through the metal shell to another lead, forming a closed circuit. When the ambient temperature reaches the critical point, as the thermal particles melt, the spring will depart from the sliding contact and thus cut off the current.
