The HR1206 series, a member of EVER OHMS' thick film high voltage chip resistor lineup, is meticulously engineered to meet the rigorous demands of high working voltage applications. With its specia
lized material selection and innovative design, this series stands out for its exceptional performance and reliability. It adheres to the IEC62368 standard (for
resistance ranges 75K~27M), making it a trusted choice across a wide range of industries. Whether integrated into power supplies, industrial control systems, measurement instruments, backlight inverters, or precision medical equipment, the HR1206 series delivers consistent and stable performance, ensuring the smooth operation of critical
electronic systems.
The HR1206 series offers two types (TYPE-1 and TYPE-2) to cater to different application requirements:
- TYPE-1
- Rated Power at 70°C: 0.25W
- Maximum Working Voltage: 1000V
- Maximum Overload Voltage: Compliant with relevant standards
- Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (T.C.R.): ±100 ppm/°C for resistance ranges 47R~10M and 100K~2M; ±200 ppm/°C for resistance range 10M < R ≤30M
- Resistance Range: 47R~30M, with tolerance options of D (±0.5%), F (±1%), and J (±5%)
- TYPE-2
- Rated Power at 70°C: 0.25W
- Maximum Working Voltage (DC): 800V
- Maximum Overload Voltage (DC): 1000V
- Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (T.C.R.): ±100 ppm/°C
- Resistance Range: 100K~10M, with the same tolerance options as TYPE-1

- Operating Temperature Range: -55°C ~ 155°C
- Power Derating: For ambient temperatures exceeding 70°C, the load must be derated in accordance with the power derating curve to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
The specialized material and structural design of the HR1206 series enable it to withstand high working voltages and overload voltages, making it suitable for high-voltage electronic circuits where reliability under extreme conditions is paramount.
With tight T.C.R. control (±100 ppm/°C for
most resistance ranges), the resistor maintains stable resistance values across a wide temperature range, minimizing performance fluctuations caused by temperature changes in various operating environments.
Rigorous reliability tests confirm the HR1206 series' durability:
- Short Time Overload: Withstands 2.5 times the rated continuous working voltage (RCWV) or maximum overload voltage (whichever is lower) for 5 seconds, with resistance change ≤±2.0% (TYPE-2)
- Resistance to Soldering Heat: Exposed to 260±5°C for 10 seconds, resistance change ≤±1.0%
- Rapid Temperature Change: Endures 5 cycles of -55°C to +155°C, resistance change ≤±1.0%
- Damp Heat with Load: Operates at 40±2°C, 90~95% relative humidity for 1000 hours (1.5 hours ON/0.5 hours OFF) with resistance change ≤±3.0%
- Load Life (Endurance): Works at 70±2°C for 1000 hours (1.5 hours ON/0.5 hours OFF) with resistance change ≤±3.0%
Compliant with standard SMD packaging, the HR1206 series features precise dimensions and compatible land pattern design, facilitating seamless integration into automated assembly processes, improving production efficiency, and reducing assembly errors.
- Taping Type: Paper Taping (for 0603~1210 sizes) or Embossed Taping, with optional quantities including 4000PCS, 5000PCS, 10000PCS, 40000PCS, 50000PCS per reel
- Reel Dimensions (Unit: mm): A=2.0±0.5, B=13.5±1.0, C=21±1.0, D=60±1.0 (5K/Reel) or 100±1.0 (10K/Reel), W=11.5±2.0, M=178±2.0 (5K/Reel) or 254±2.0 (10K/Reel)
