TDK Corporation (TSE 6762) announced the official launch of the new single unit AC-DC power HWS-G series by the TDK-Lambda brand. This series has a power of up to 3000W and can achieve constant voltage and constant current (CVCC) output, meeting a wide range of application requirements. Sales will begin in June 2024.
This series optimizes switch components through digital control and installs components with high density, achieving an output power of 3000W in a small size of 150mm x 61mm x 270mm (WxHxD). The power density is approximately three times that of traditional products of the same size, providing the optimal choice for miniaturization of customer equipment.
This series supports two operating modes: constant voltage output (CV) and constant current output (CC). Through analog programming interfaces and serial communication interfaces, the output voltage and output current can be programmed from 0% of the rated value, and the output value can be monitored.
Safety certification includes IEC/UL/CSA/EN62368-1 for audio and video, information and communication equipment standards, as well as IEC/EN62477-1 (OVC III) for corresponding power converter systems and equipment.
