The battery charger PCA9482 chip is a 7A 2:1 single cell battery switch capacitor charger chip IC. PCA9482UK is a highly integrated switch capacitor converter with an embedded OVPFET that provides twice the output current for fast charging applications using single cell batteries. This device can operate in a 2:1 switching mode, with very high efficiency (>96.5%, at VVOUT=4V, IVOUT=5A), and can run in a 1:2 switching mode or in a forward and reverse 1:1 mode. This chip is packaged in WLCSP with dimensions of 3.02mm x 2.72mm, 6 x 7 bumps, and a spacing of 0.4mm. Widely used in wearable products, tablets, mobile phones, and portable electronic devices with high voltage direct charging.
