The Walter brand traces its origins back to 1968 when it was founded in Taiwan. In 2006, Walter received technical support from a major Japanese manufacturer for current sensing resistor products, marking the beginning of its resistor component business and earning certification from renowned industry players. In 2015, Walter launched its power fuse product line, targeting solar systems, industrial power supplies, communication power supplies, UPS, power batteries, electric vehicles, and instrumentation markets. Walter utilizes an alloy-cladding process for SMD fuse production, with side electrodes formed by sputtering, providing sulfur resistance and flame retardant properties. In July 2024, Walter launched the 0603 series SMD fuses.

3. Thermal Cutoff Fuses

Thermal cutoff fuses were among Walter's early product offerings, designed for over-temperature protection applications.

4. Power Fuses

Introduced in 2015 and expanded in 2022, the power fuse product line addresses high-power requirements for solar systems, industrial power supplies, and electric vehicles, with an annual capacity of 23 million units.
