The LITTELFUSE SIDACtor® protected thyristor is a high-performance circuit protection device primarily used to protect electronic devices from overvoltage damage. SIDACtor® protected thyristors are usually in a high resistance state when operating and do not affect the circuit. Once the transient has passed, the thyristor will automatically return to the high resistance state and resume normal operation.
