TEA2206T is an active bridge rectifier controller suitable for using MOSFETs instead of the two low side diodes in traditional diode bridges.
Combining TEA2206T with low resistance high-voltage external MOSFET can significantly improve the efficiency of power converters, as the forward conduction loss of typical rectifier diodes is reduced by 50%. At a power supply voltage of 90 V (AC), efficiency can be improved by approximately 0.7%.
TEA2206T is made using silicon on insulator (SOI) technology.
