NXP TEA1723DT is a small, low-cost switch mode power supply (SMPS) controller IC suitable for low-power applications (up to 11 W) and can directly operate with a rectified mains power supply. It is designed for 11W AC-DC controllers with integrated power switches. This device integrates a high voltage power switch (700 V) and is optimized for flyback converter topology, which can improve efficiency over the full load range with extremely low no-load power consumption. The device is equipped with a built-in startup circuit, which can be directly started using rectified mains voltage without the need for any external discharge circuit. A hiccup frequency of 1270 Hz can achieve no-load power consumption below 35 mW under high mains input conditions.
