TEA1723 is a small-sized and low-cost switch mode power supply (SMPS) controller IC, suitable for low-power applications (up to 11 W), and can work directly with rectified mains power supply. This device integrates a high voltage power switch (700 V) and is optimized for flyback converter topology, which can improve efficiency over the full load range with extremely low no-load power consumption. The device is equipped with a built-in startup circuit, which can be directly started using rectified mains voltage without the need for any external discharge circuit. A hiccup frequency of 905 Hz can achieve no-load power consumption below 25 mW under high mains input conditions.
