The NXP battery sensor MM9Z1_638 with CAN and LIN battery sensor IC can measure voltage, current, and temperature, minimizing power consumption without compromising accuracy or data processing capabilities. NXP ® MM9Z1_638 is a fully integrated battery monitoring device, featuring:

Accurate current measurement can be supported through external shunt resistors
Measure 4 voltages using an internal calibrated resistor divider or an external divider
An internal temperature sensor that supports close range measurement of battery temperature, in addition to 4 external temperature sensor inputs
LIN 2.2 protocol and physical interface, as well as MSCAN protocol controller, can be connected to the automotive bus
