There are differences in structure, material, frequency characteristics, EMI suppression ability, size, and cost between laminated ferrite magnetic beads and ordinary magnetic beads. The selection of magnetic bead types that are suitable for specific application needs depends on factors such as the required frequency range, EMI suppression requirements, and cost budget. How to select the appropriate magnetic bead, please refer to the differences for selection.

There are some differences between laminated ferrite magnetic beads and ordinary magnetic beads, including the following aspects:

1. Structure and Material: Laminated ferrite magnetic beads are composed of multiple thin ferrite materials stacked together and connected through electrodes. Ordinary magnetic beads are usually made of materials such as ferrite powder and epoxy resin, forming a solid block structure.

2. Frequency characteristics: Layered ferrite beads typically have large inductance and resistance characteristics in the high-frequency range, providing good high-frequency noise suppression and EMI filtering effects. Ordinary magnetic beads have relatively low frequency characteristics and are mainly used for low-frequency applications.

3. EMI suppression ability: Due to its special structure and material, laminated ferrite magnetic beads have good electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression ability, which can effectively absorb and suppress high-frequency noise. However, the EMI suppression ability of ordinary magnetic beads is relatively weak.

4. Size and packaging form: Laminated ferrite magnetic beads are usually thinner and smaller than ordinary magnetic beads, with a cylindrical or rectangular appearance, making it easy to install compactly on circuit boards. There are various sizes and packaging forms of ordinary magnetic beads, including spherical, cylindrical, and box shapes.

5. Cost: Due to the more complex structure and material requirements of laminated ferrite magnetic beads, they are usually slightly more expensive than ordinary magnetic beads. Ordinary magnetic beads are relatively low-cost.
